Religion is by far the most dangerous threat that the Human species has ever encountered.
In past millennia the bigotry of, and certainty of, many and various believers in invisible friends have only resulted in the deaths of a few thousand(s).
Now, however, we are faced with the prospect...the knowledge, that the very people who in times gone by have always, rightly in my view, been regarded as simpletons...at best, because they preach the Apocalypse and the ending of days when their redeemer (insert name of specified religious redeemer here...they are interchangeable, i.e. the same one) will kill everyone who doesn't belong to their particular man made idea of ...blah bloody blah. BUT..the ones who DO believe in faerie stories will be physically carried aloft to the arms of Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha/Nirvana, Shiva, Jupiter, Mars ,Pluto, Quetzocotl, Danu, Baal, Isis, Zoroastra, Jehovah, Yahweh, Thor or The Flying Spaghetti Monster . They and only they will be able to carry on in eternity doing nothing but praising their own deity for eternity...sounds like hell to me, I'd far rather be dead thankyou very much.
